Dance is well know for its therapeutic and healing benefits, besides the fact that its fun and challenging at the same time. It allows us to explore our bodies by moving it into expressions of energy, life form and emotions. It can challenge our mind to create self awareness, control, fluidity and empowerment. To bring freedom into our bodies and life.

 

Yoga

According to Patanjali- great sage and founder of the science of yoga- “yogas chitta vritti nirodhah” is the cessation of the fluctuation fo the mind stuff. In the Yoga Mala, yoga is the process of ending the definitions of the field of consciousness.

In my opinion, yoga is the union of the body, the mind, the energy body and the spirit. A practice/ tool that facilitates the journey of expanding our consciousness and oneness.
